THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE
(1982)

This psychological thriller kept the audiences on the edge of their seats throughout the performance. Terrifying sound effects helped to create an atmosphere of the supernatural, periods of eerie silence were punctuated by terrifying screams that brought a tension in the audience relieved by many audience screams. Great fun!

Despite its ‘creepy’ story line, the show provided another excellent evening of entertainment. As one critic wrote: “ What made the play interesting, however, was not its fill of horror but its attacks on the mind, both of the characters and of the audience, a truly frightening premise”
