WHO GOES BARE
(1979)
We knew it was going to be tough to keep up with last year’s two memorable successes - especially our record breaking “The Sound Of Music” but we were determined to do so.
We kicked off the 1979-80 school year with an uproarious British farce “Who Goes Bare?”. The production had a funny script and relied on the usual ingredients of a successful British farce: good timing, physical humour, and good character portrayal to propel the zany plot along. Norbert Goodin’s set construction crew created the two-story, eight doors and a closet set that provided a perfect stage on which to create the memorable extended chase scene for the play’s frenetic climax. As the newspaper said: “MAY THE FARCE BE WITH YOU.....”
