4. From Andrea Dencer Drader:

After months of rehearsals "Mary Poppins" is finished. Dad I am so proud of you. You continue to direct these productions long after retirement and every year they only seem to get better! I think one of your greatest accomplishments is bringing out the talent in students that (maybe) they didn't know they had. You see it in them and you push them to give it their all and the result is always amazing. I am also very proud of Hayden for joining Timberwolf Theatre to do lighting. It was a long 6 months but you stuck with it even though the majority of your work was done in the last 2 weeks. I am one proud daughter and mother

5. From Marlene Johnson-Loden:

Ray Dencer is one excellent director

6. From Chad Hendricks (Walnut Grove Decondary School):

Congrats on a fantastic show.  I really enjoyed it.  There were 8 students there last night and another 7-8 planning to go tonight!  Really liked the additional pieces esp the stairway that really helped with the revolving to the bedrooms etc.  Great Brimstone/Mary battle movement as well!  Kites worked well too - so nice having a fly system eh?  Please pass my congratulation to the cast and crew and creative team.  I also appreciate the recognition in the program that was very generous.  It was the first time I've seen a set I designed in another show - really neat.

7. From Bronwen Sutherland (Clarke Theatre Managaer):

Great show! Heard nothing but great things from audience members and had a message on my machine today from a happy customer! Said they loved it.

8. From Bruce Campbell:
Last night I had the opportunity to get out to watch our Bateman Musical Theater production of Mary Poppins.  Once again, as in previous years I was blown away by how many of our students are involved and their level of excellence.   Congrats to Kris Werner, Shelly Wautier, Ray Dencer and Daniel Webster for their contributions to again making this year's production a huge success.  If you know any of the cast members, please be sure to give them a pat on the back for all their hard work and outstanding performances.

The Arts are alive and well at Bateman!!

Bruce Campbell

Please pass this on to everyone involved with Mary Poppins... Our staff and students want to send an extra round of applause to your actors, musicians, directors, crew, set and costume geniuses!  What a wonderful performance of Mary Poppins. The hard work and effort put into putting on a show of this caliber was evident!! Hats off to a job well done!  I can only imagine the positive feelings each of you will carry with you for the rest of your lives from participating in such a collaborative adventure! You've had us singing Mary Poppins tunes for weeks and everyone has a slightly brighter spring to their step because of it. 11. Thank you! Bravo! Sincerely Rhonda JantzKrahn

12. From the Watrins:

When I think back to September and Caylee almost not joining Musical Theatre, I can't believe we almost missed this opportunity. It has been amazing to be part of this program.  We watched our daughter grow as an actress and singer and her passion for theatre flourished as well. We want to thank you, Mr. Dencer, Becky and Shelly for all of your guidance and care with Caylee and all of the cast. It was such an amazing production! We wish we had more time to help with the process, and we are so thankful it was always in such capable hands. We had a lot of family attend the production, and they all raved about the quality of the sets, choreography, pit band and the cast.  We look forward to more opportunities for the kids through your programs.  Sincerely,  Michelle and Kevin Watrin

14. From a retired teacher in Mission (via RBSS Office):

Just wanted to tell you that I had a phone call from a retired teacher from Mission who went to the play on the 19
th.  She wanted me to convey to all involved how much she enjoyed the show, what a wonderful job all involved did.  She couldn’t single out one cast member, thought they were all awesome.  She just couldn’t say enough.
