In the eyes of many, our production of “Seussical” was a pleasant surprise. Given that this was the first production of the new RBSS Musical Theatre class (Timberwolf Musical Theatre), the five performances provided excellent entertainment at a high level. There were some outstanding individual performances that highlighted a strong ensemble performance. Attendances at the three public performances was better than anticipated and the two matinee performances played to enthusiastic sold-out audiences. A large number of positive letters, emails and phone calls suggested that our initial musical theatre project had been well worthwhile.
For this production, I worked as an “Artist-in-Residence” for Robert Bateman Secondary School, was Co-Director, Producer, and designed the Lighting.
