DISNEY’S
ALADDIN JR.
(JANUARY, 2006)
ATSS Musical Theatre’s second production was that of “Disney’s Aladdin Jr.”, based on the Disney animated film. The success of the first show, “Annie Jr.”, resulted in us adding an additional performance to meet the demand for tickets. We really taxed the technical facilities on the school stage to complete this production - not without blown fuses and other challenges! For this show, the class size had grown but we were able to utilize the whole group. Colorful costumes and scenery, and a few interesting special effects gave this production a “magical” aura. The matinee performances were very well attended and this boded well for the future of ATSS Musical Theatre.
