MUSICAL THEATRE STAFF
Mr. Ray Dencer ( Artistic and Technical Director and Producer 1991-2011) : Mr. Dencer came to Yale Secondary School as an experienced educator having taught in England and in New Brunswick before arriving at Yale in 1989. He developed curriculum in both Drama and Fine Arts for the Province of New Brunswick as well as being one of the staff responsible for the Locally Developed and Board Approved District 34 (Abbotsford) Musical Theatre courses. As a veteran director of over a hundred productions, and as an actor in school, university and community theatre, Mr. Dencer enjoys his "life" in the theatre and takes great pride in the progress made in Yale's Musical Theatre productions.

I was the recipient of the 2006 Arty Award for Outstanding Artist in the Performing Arts - Theatre.
I was Producer/Director of Yale Musical Theatre productions from 1991-2011 and co-directed several of the annual Yale Spring Theatre of Laughter productions. I am currently working as a Musical Theatre Consultant and Lighting Designer.
